This Service is offered as an individually managed personal hobby project. The operator provides no uptime SLA, no availability guarantees, and no database backup liability. The website and database may encounter severe service disruptions, database errors, or permanent discontinuation at any time, without warning. You agree to use this Service entirely at your own risk.
- No uptime guarantees: The app is a personal hobby project. It may stop, experience outages, or be closed down at any time.
- No financial counsel: Cash-flow forecasts and assistant responses are for information, not professional financial advice.
- AI database authority: Instructing NotaCents to edit entries grants it write-access to your database. We are not liable for AI bugs.
- Liability limit: The developer is not liable for data corruption, server deletions, or financial tracking inaccuracies.
1. Acceptance & Scope
By accessing, registering an account, or interacting with the software and tools provided on this website (the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Service creator.
2. Best-Effort Service Status
The Service is provided strictly on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis for personal, non-commercial cash-flow forecasting. The Service operator reserves the right to modify, restrict access to, or terminate accounts and database entries at any time for maintenance, system resource limitations, or developer convenience.
3. Professional Disclaimer (No Financial Advice)
All calculations, charts, monthly normalizations, and rolling due dates presented by the Service, including recommendations or natural language interactions generated by the NotaCents Assistant, are provided solely for general educational and informational purposes.
The Service operator is not a licensed financial advisor, CPA, or investment analyst. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any due dates, payment cycles, and billing totals with your actual bank accounts or service providers prior to taking any financial actions.
4. NotaCents AI Interactions & Database Modification Authority
The Service integrates an AI-driven chat helper (NotaCents) capable of interpreting commands to perform read, write, and delete operations on your database records on your behalf. By inputting requests that instruct NotaCents to alter your data:
- You grant the NotaCents Assistant authority to write to your ledger database.
- You agree that the operator is not liable for data loss, corrupted schedules, or AI errors (including hallucinations or incorrect proration logic).
5. Registration & Account Integrity
Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials. Any security breach or unauthorized access to an account must be reported to the administrator immediately. The Service operator is not liable for damages or unauthorized access to your ledger records resulting from password exposure.
6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
In no event shall the Service operator, creator, or contributors be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, financial losses, transaction errors, overdraft fees, or loss of personal data) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, losses, liabilities, or demands arising out of your breach of these terms.
