Because this website is operated as an individual personal hobby project, all registered account data, subscription names, billing parameters, and chat histories are visible to the site creator and administrator. This data resides in database instances under direct administrative control. Please do not store sensitive information, passwords used elsewhere, or financial account secrets that you wish to keep entirely private.
- What we store: Your registration name, email, encrypted password string, and subscription items.
- AI processing: Conversations with NotaCents and subscription totals are sent to Gemini to generate help replies. Model training is disabled.
- Zero commercialization: Your budget files and contact information are never sold or shared with advertisers.
- Database visibility: The site administrator has complete backend database viewing permissions for systems debugging.
1. General Disclosures
This Privacy Policy governs the collection, retention, and processing of user data by this application (hereafter referred to as "the Service"). The Service is owned and operated by an individual creator for personal and educational use. By creating an account or inputting any financial records, you accept the practices outlined herein.
2. Information Collection
The Service collects the following categories of information:
- Authentication Credentials: Usernames, email addresses, and securely encrypted (hashed) password strings provided during registration.
- Ledger & Subscription Data: Record details created by the user, including name of subscription, periodic billing amounts, recurrence schedules, and billing anniversary dates.
- Conversational Logs: Text transcriptions and prompts input by the user into the NotaCents Assistant interface.
3. Processing & Direct Developer Access
All data is stored in cloud databases. Because this is a personal hobby project, the Service administrator maintains direct database query access for server optimization, system administration, and technical troubleshooting.
The developer does not sell, rent, license, or share stored information with commercial brokers, advertising platforms, or tracking agencies.
4. Third-Party AI Integrations
The Service utilizes third-party Large Language Model APIs (specifically Google Gemini) to power the interactive NotaCents Assistant. When prompts are sent to NotaCents, relevant sections of your conversation history and subscription data are transmitted to these AI providers to fulfill the request. The data is processed in accordance with the third-party providers' API agreements, which state that API inputs are not utilized for model training.
5. Data Retention, Correction, & Deletion
Users retain administrative control over their ledger data and may update, correct, or delete individual subscription entries at their own discretion. To request the complete, permanent erasure of an account profile and all corresponding ledger records from the active databases, users can access the self-service options in their account settings or submit a request directly to the administrator.
6. Essential Cookies
The Service utilizes only essential session-based cookies to authenticate and identify users during active sessions. No analytics, tracking, or marketing cookies are deployed.
